The start of a new ME..........

So as of last monday I started the P90X workout :)

I have seen great results already and am so looking forward to seeing the results at the end.

Let me tell you how I even came to this point.

..........................

So last summer I was working at a Dam and trying to lose weight which I did since the job

allowed me to be constantly moving for 12 hrs a day.

Once I moved to Jacksonville to see my husband once he got back from his deployment I

started gaining back weight plus some..... well a lot

My husband noticed, I noticed and..................... the scale noticed. I was in a whole new

environment and a whole new lifestyle I wasn't used to.

In this new environment, I do nothing besides stay at home.

So yeah I can see why I put on weight

I even got stretch marks on my sides because I gained it so fast which I HATED!!!!

I had to do something about it so I was gonna start P90X with my husband.

Here is the part that sucked.

The night of Day 1 my husband came home at 8 pm and told me that he had to be back in at

midnight to leave for a deployment. Of course I don't know anything about where he is going

and when he will be back. I am praying to god it will only be

3 months though. So after he left I have started to try and get to my goal that I have always

wanted to be at which is to get down to 135 lbs but I have only ever got to 140

After one week I have already lost 13.5 lbs YAY

I still have about 35 lbs to loose to get to 135 but I think I can do it.

I also just started tanning so I will have a very nice glow when my husband comes back.

On sunday it was what I would call a girls day but just for myself.

I tanned, whitened my teeth, and even colored my hair

just so my color evened out more and didn't looked like it was so

faded out from the last color.

This is all just a whole new start to a new ME!!!!!!

First Photo Shoot

So yesterday I did my first Photo shoot

as a photographer in Jacksonville

It also was my first time going to the

beach in North Carolina since I moved here last September

It just sucked because the first time wasn't with my

husband but it was still an amazing day.

It was sunny out but it was so so windy which

made it very cold. By the end of the shoot my fingers

were beat red and it had so much water running out of my eyes.

Anyways here are a few pictures from the shoot

Just another day....

Well, I have been up all day trying to write this

research paper and it has been killing me

I just now finished it and sadly to say it still didn't meet

the length requirement but at this point I don't care because I think it sounds good.

.....................

I am just ready for it to be tomorrow

I get to do my first photo shoot as a photographer in Jacksonville

When I was back in Washington I loved to take photos for fun but they were

more nature and pet photos

I am so excited to do portraits.

Tomorrow will also be the first time I go to the beach

since I moved here in September

Hopefully I will post some pictures this weekend

.............

In the meantime here are a few pictures I was just

messing around with when I was taking them

Baby Chase

So since I didn't bring Tiger back with me I was heart broken because I love having a pet with me.
SOOOO......

I adopted a kitten

This is Chase

He was very shy when I first got him.
Which is understandable since he was at the animal shelter.
Now he runs around and gets in kill mode.
He is very gentle though and loves to sleep
above our heads at night on the pillows.

He also loves to play in his cube
well mostly likes to roll it over so he can't get out of it.

Not much else to say about him besides I can't wait to get
Tiger back here so they can play together. Although she may teach him some bad habits

Lawrence put him in his sweater pocket
and he ended up loving it in there

Christmas Leave

So I know I am writing this a little bit too late but
It is something I just had to share......

As you know this is Tiger.
My cat that I brought to NC with me from WA

Since we were going to fly back to WA for Christmas
I decided that I was going to fly her back with us too (haha)
Easier said than done

I took her to the vet to get sedatives for her so
she would be a good girl on the plane.
The vet told me to try them out a day earlier
so I could see how long it took to effect her.
So I gave her 1/4 of the pill like told to and an hour and
a half later I could see that she was much more sleepy. I thought okay this will be fine.
Boy I was sure wrong

When Lawrence's cousin took us to the airport at 4 in the
morning she was screaming in the truck and
Lawrence wanted to throw her out the window.
So we got to the airport and she was fine as I carried her around.
The we get on the plane and get going and
she is meowing and digging at her fabric/mesh bag.

By the time we got onto our second flight I just knew it was
going to be a very long day. Our next flight was five hours long and i was dreading it.
When we were about halfway through this flight she was screaming
her head off and no joke chewing her way through the plastic mesh.
So being the idiot that I am I decided I was going to put my
hand in to pet her and clam her down. She ended up shoving her
teeth through my hand and using her very sharp
claws to tear my hand apart. I pulled my hand out once
I could pry her off with my other hand and was crying because
I was in pain and my hand was all bloody.

By the time I got to WA I was relieved to finally be done with my horrid experience.
I knew we still had another two hour drive but my parents
were picking us up so I knew it would be that bad once
Tiger could get out and roam around the car.

Well she was so happy still cried a little bit was not going insane.

She even got back into her bag and was laying in
it while we sat in the parking lot of Walmart.

Anyways I made an appointment with our mobile vet that comes to our town to get her a new health certificate and to see if there was anything else we could do so she would be calm for her next flight.

I ended up bailing on our way to meet up with the vet since she was freaking out in the car. I could not handle another 12 hours of flying with her again.

Funny story to this whole thing is that I kept telling the
vet that the sedative
DID NOT WORK.
SHe kept telling me she thought that Tiger was
just hiding it is her cheek and spiting it our when I wasn't looking.
 I knew that was wrong.

Well......... Last week my mom took her to the same vet again
(since we ended up leaving her with my parents in WA)
She was going to go get fixed since she had already
had an appointment to get fixed when I brought her back which obviously didn't happen.

She had figured out how to use the doggie door while we were
there to and was seen with another cat that lives in our garage.
( She also managed to get gasoline all over her tail, but and hind legs)

When the vet went to go fix she found out that indeed she was pregnant
non of the medication worked that they gave her, she pulled out her IV, and tore all her stitches so they had to re-stitch her and said they believe me now.

She is officially a CRAZY CAT.....

And she loves it at my parents since she has dogs to chase and she gets into everything

She is still my baby though :)

Married Life

Lets see some events first that you should know before I get to the wedding....
Lawrence had been on his first seven month deployment in afghanistan
and was getting home at the end of September

I was so excited to finally see him and since I wasn't able to go to his boot camp graduation
I decided that I was going to drive all the way to
North Carolina from Washington.
I ended up going by myself with my kitten
which turned out very interesting.
she of course freaked out when she was in her cage
so I let her roam freely around the car

Of course she slept most of the time
the things you see driving across the US though.
You sure can really get a feel of what what the rest of the
world looks like driving over 12 different states.

Finally I had reached North Carolina after 5 days of driving almost 3,000 miles

After driving that long my poor car really needed a car wash

What I should have done was scrape off all the bugs
and put them in a container that says "bugs from 12 states" on it :)

Next came his homecoming
I had so much excitement built up I was going crazy
I made him a sign to hold up when he returned

I also made a sign to hang outside our house.
Funny story is when I was hanging the sign there were fire ants
crawling on my feet and bitting them which hurt extremely bad.
I now have scars from them and the bites lasted almost 3 weeks.

I would post some pictures of homecoming but unfortunately my photographer
had to go after sitting with me for 4 hours because her babysitter
couldn't stay any longer. 45 minutes after she left they arrived.
Of course it was pouring outside so they packed all 200 men in a tiny gym
and just waiting for them to start walking in I was overwhelmed with emotion.
Finally he was released from their formation and I was making my way down to him.
I don't think I have ever pushed through so many people.
But once I saw him and yelled out his name we locked eyes and I got a huge hug
and I couldn't let go. I was the happiest girl ever.
After we left the gym to go home though it was still pouring and
I was drenched come to find out that was the start of a week of non stop rain that flooded North Carolina and our street got closed from the road washing off into a creek.

October 12, 2010

We decided  that was the day we were going to go to the courthouse
that night with his cousin and wife and we were going to be married.
I wish I was smart enough to get pictures that night but I wasn't instead
I had a photographer take pictures another day.
